  1. What is Zip Shift Book?
    Zip Shift Book is the most streamlined digital log book on the market. It is the efficient way to track everything that happens during each shift.
  1. Can I add multiple email IDs for my account?
    You cannot have multiple email IDs for an owner account. For other employee types (supervisor, manager), you can have multiple email IDs, but only one will be active at any given time.
  1. Can I unsubscribe at anytime?
  2. You can unsubscribe at anytime.

  1. How do I change my contact information?
    You can change your contact information from profile settings which appear when you click on your profile picture. However, you cannot change your email ID or your name.
  1. How do I connect to a cloud storage service in the app?
    To connect to a cloud storage provider, go to Global Settings -> Cloud Connection and click on Connect to Cloud Storage. There you can connect to any of the supported cloud services.
  1. Can I switch to different cloud storage from my current cloud storage?
    You can change the cloud service provider you are connected to. Go to Global Settings > Cloud Connection and click on Switch Cloud. Then you can select a different storage option any of the mentioned cloud services.
  1. How do I add additional business locations I want to use the app at?
    You can add different sites of your organization by going to Manage account > Manage Sites > Add.
  1. I can’t sign in, what should I do?
    Click the ‘Forgot Password’ button to reset your password. If it does not work, please support@hubworks.com.
  1. Can I customize the categories in the application?
    Zip Shift Book comes with a number of default categories we think you will find useful, but you can also customize these categories to suit your individual business needs under Global Settings.
  1. Can I restrict my managers/supervisors from deleting log entries?
    In order to restrict your managers/supervisors follows the steps below.
  1. Can I add my logo for my organization?
    You can add your organization’s logo while signing up or from organization profile setting.
  2. Go to: Global Settings > General Setting > Click on the Yes/No switch next to Allow Others to delete Notes/Customer Experience > Click Save

  1. What will happen to my cloud data once I switch to different cloud storage?
     After you switch cloud connections, you will no longer be able to access files uploaded to the cloud storage you had previously used. You can only access files that were uploaded to the cloud storage provider you are currently connected to.
  1. Do I need a computer to use Zip Shift Book?
    As of now, Zip Shift Book is only available as a web application, but mobile apps for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets are coming soon.
  1. Are employees with crew member status able to use Zip Shift Book?
    Only owners, managers and supervisors can use Zip Shift Book.
  1. Is there any limit on the number of employees that I can add in Shift Book?
  2. We charge you for each site you use the app at, not for each employee you add.

  1. Is there a way to import employee details?
  2. YES. You can import employee details by going to Employees and clicking the Import button.

  1. Does the app allow me to import events?
  2. YES. You can directly import events in the form of an ICS file.

  1. How many events can be added for a single day?
  2. There is no limitation on the no of events for a particular day in the Zip Shift Book application.

  1. Which events are visible on the Dashboard?
  2. Events for the next two weeks can be seen on the Dashboard under Upcoming Events.

  1. Can I delete Employee Journal entries?
  2. Employee Journal entries can be edited but they cannot be deleted.

  1. Can I change the contact type once a contact is added in the address book?
  2. Once a contact is added then the contact type cannot be changed. You can, however, edit/update other details for the contact.

  1. Is there an additional charge for your iPhone or Android apps?
    All of your managers and employees can enjoy our iPhone and Android apps at no additional cost. All they have to do is get the app from iTunes or Google Play.
