    You don’t need any new hardware. You and your employees can use any computer, mobile phone or tablet connected to the Internet.

  2. How long will it take to train my employees to use Zip Checklist?

    Zip Checklist is very intuitive and simple to use. You and your employees will be able to learn how to use it very quickly and without any formal training.

  3. Do you offer support?

    Yes. We offer free email support for as long as you use the service. Free email support is available to all plan users including users in the free trial.

    Yes. You can try the free trial.

  3. Is this cost a one-time cost or is it a monthly cost?

    Instead of charging a large upfront license fee, we offer Zip Checklist as Software as a Service (SaaS) at a low monthly cost. With this money we are able to add more features to our service and you automatically get access to the latest version.

    Yes. We only accept payment from Fote, the best payment processor available. Your info is safe with us.

    Business owners and employees with manager or supervisor status are able to use Zip Checklist with various levels of user rights.

  2. How are user rights defined for owners, managers, and supervisors?

    Owners have access to the following:

    • Dashboard
    • Checklist
    • Employees
    • Manage Account
    • Site Settings
    • App settings.

    Managers have access to the following:
    • Dashboard
    • Employees
    • Checklist
    • Site Settings

    Supervisors have access to the following:
    • Dashboard
    • Checklist
    • Employees

  3. Are employees with crew member status able to use Zip Checklist?

    No. Only owners, managers and supervisors can use Zip Checklist.

  1. Can I create my own Checklist?

    Yes. You can create your own checklist by navigating to App Settings > Task Settings > Add New Checklist

  2. Can I import my employees?

    Yes. You can import your employees by uploading a CSV file.

  3. What is the difference between “Create New” and “Create a Copy of a Checklist”?

    You can select “Create New” to create a custom checklist from scratch or select “Create a Copy of a Checklist” to make a copy of an existing checklist that you can then modify.

  4. What are the different types of checklists?

    There are three types of checklists: daily, weekly and monthly.

  5. What are the different checklist categories?

    There are three checklist categories: Equipment, Yes/No, and Temperature.

  6. Can I edit existing checklists?

    Yes. You can create your own checklist by navigating to App Settings > Task Settings > Add New Checklist

  7. Can I delete a checklist?

    No. You cannot delete a checklist. However, you can deativate a checklist that is not currently in use and reactivate later if you wish to use it again.

  8. How are tasks sorted?

    Tasks are sorted based or the order in which they are due. They are listed in the following order:

    1. Tasks that are due to completed by a specific time.
    2. Tasks that are to be completed by end of day.
    3. Overdue tasks that were not completed on time.
    4. Completed tasks.

  1. How do I connect to a cloud storage provider?

    To connect to a cloud storage provider, go to App Settings > Cloud Connection and click on Connect to Cloud Storage. There you can connect to any of the supported cloud services.

  2. Can I switch to cloud service providers?

    Yes. You can change the cloud service provider you are connected to. Go to App Settings > Cloud Connection and click on Switch Cloud. Then you can select a different storage option any of the mentioned cloud services.

  3. How can I configure Checklists in Zip Checklist?

    You can configure checklists from the App Settings.

  1. What will happen to my cloud data when I switch to a different cloud storage provider?

    After you switch cloud connections, you will no longer be able to access files uploaded to the cloud storage you had previously used. You can only access files that were uploaded to the cloud storage provider you are currently connected to.

  2. Do you backup my data?

    Yes. We backup all the data on a nightly basis.
